The m2 series was designed to investigate visual perception.
The work is a clinical representation of 50 spaces, both interior
and exterior, within our personal habitats.
The images are constructed borrowing techniques from aerial
photography and photogrammetry, and are depicted in a 1:1 ratio
(further investigating our study of scale.)
The result emulates
an ‘accurate’ perspective, an
instantaneous moment, which in reality is virtually constructed;
questioning what defines a photograph in the age of ‘post
film’ photography.
As artists we work as a partnership, collaborating on our projects
and contributing individual components. The result is a collection
of singular images that have joint ownership.
